Cloud Computing
Exploiting your HPC resources through the network
Computing Farms designed and implemented by Gridcore can be made accessible by exposing them as web services. This may be aggregation of different clusters or simply the abstraction of a single cluster which may be used through a documented API. The Enterprise Gompute software suite allows unification of a Linux/UNIX and Windows HPC Server 2008 clusters and presents them as one unique resource.
Gridcore's Cloud solutions are based on open standards which allow the interconnection of software and hardware resources over a company intranet or the internet. The Globus Toolkit, Sun Grid Engine (for Linux/Unix systems) and Windows HPC Server 2008 (for Windows systems) are the main building blocks for Gridcore's grid solution.
Besides the basic infrastructure, Cloud enabled clients have been developed for managing simulations on multi cluster environments or to plug in third party software into an existing cluster.
