Enterprise Gompute (tm) software stack

The Enterprise Gompute  (E-Gompute)  platform  is a complete environment for engineering, financial and technical projects which need a simple and standard way to harness the power of computing farms. E-Gompute is also powering the GOMPUTE HPC on-demand service.

The E-Gompute member products are designed to:

• Provide collaborative HPC, by letting teams of engineers from across the Globe collaborate on local or remote compute resources.

• Integrate an environment consisting of Linux, AIX and Windows compute resources providing a single interface to a heterogeneous computing resource.

• Increase productivity by providing HPC productivity tools for managing computations,simulations and their results.

• Provide remote HPC, by allowing web based graphical interactive access to compute resources.

• Increase the utilization of compute resources by cutting the learning curve for HPC users.

• Be non-invasive without interfering in any way with applications running on E-Gompute.

• Provide a documented interface for third party applications to plug in to E-Gompute.

E-Gompute is a software product line based on Open Standards and some Open Source components, many of them modified for effective integration. E-Gompute's added value resides in its special design to comply with a HPC environment and its commercial and professional support, which warranties that this collection of software, including core applications, works correctly and efficiently together. E-Gompute's adherence to Open standards ensures inter connectivity for customer components and a robust infrastructure.
